Tasting Notes
Notes of dark fruit like plum. A whole pallet feel, not terribly tannic with a somewhat evanescent finish. Dark fruits like dark cherry and a hint of pepper. Not a tippable Cab Sav. Not bold or heavy but not sweet either. This is a wine you don’t have to pair with food. Just sit, sip, and relax after a long day.

18 Semillon

A reserve white wine vineyard since 1989, this Sémillon was grown with full-season plans for all-out gorgeousness. Bright and rich it's a spectacular wine with all the many Autumn foods, especially mushrooms, including the whole Thanksgiving cornucopia.
Tasting notes
A touch of jasmine with summer peaches, apricots, and lemon shine in the classic nose with youthful energy. Warm ripe August tree ripe apricot fruit flavors on the palate reflect the welcome the nose offered. Big flavored and luscious, the fresh energetic acidity supports the palate density. The velour texture of fruit and cream feels familiar with the classic wines of a great vintage.
Paring
Enjoy with the many Pacific fins and shellfish. Especially with a mushroom-filled risotto and hearty bird dishes. It's an all-season wine that is bigger than Chardonnay, not grassy like Sauv Blanc delivering character few whites can deliver.

On the Nose
Aromas of ripe strawberry, passion fruit, and grapefruit with hints of melon and grass.
On the Palate
Velvety on the palate with flavors of watermelon and strawberry, hints of zest, and a minerally finish.
Method
We de-stemmed and macerated (soaked the skins) the Sugarloaf Syrah for 12 hours before going to press. The free-run and pressed juices were blended in a tank and fermented for approximately 22 days using R4600 yeast. After five months of aging in a tank, these two different styles of rose were blended, and crossflow filtered prior to bottling.

Big flavored and not overripe with 100% whole cluster fermentation, the easy texture of fruit and gentle tannins feel familiar.

Tasting Notes
BoyRich black cherry, leather, tobacco leaf, vanilla, cola, roasted peppers, black tea, and allspice. A full palate with big tannins and hints of blackberries, plum, cedar, and nutmeg. You can cellar for up to 15 years. Decant for 24 hours before enjoying. Serve with a filet mignon over Portobello mushrooms and balsamic glaze, hard cheese like aged cheddar, or dark chocolate.
